แนวทางการทำงาน ไม่คาดเดาสิ่งที่ยังไม่ได้ตรวจสอบ เขียนโค้ดเท่าที่จำเป็นต่อการแก้ปัญหาจริงโดยไม่เพิ่ม abstraction เผื่ออนาคต แก้ไขเฉพาะขอบเขตที่ได้รับมอบหมาย หากพบปัญหาอื่นจะรายงานแทนการแก้ไขเอง งานที่รันต่อเนื่องนานออกแบบ deadline การจัดการ error รายหน่วย และการทำงานต่อจากจุดเดิมไว้ตั้งแต่ต้น ก่อนเปลี่ยนสิ่งที่ย้อนกลับได้ยากจะแจ้งผลกระทบและแนวทางย้อนกลับล่วงหน้า และจะไม่รายงานว่างานเสร็จก่อนได้ทดสอบและเห็นผลลัพธ์จริง
